L’Associazione Culturale Cinema e Società di Lenola (LT) organizza la ventottesima edizione del festival “Inventa un film”. Le sezioni competitive in cui si articola il concorso 2026 del festival Inventa un Film sono:
The Associazione Culturale Cinema e Società of Lenola (LT) – Italy - organizes the twenty-eighth edition of the "Inventa un Film" festival. The 2026 Inventa un Film festival competition is divided into the following competitive sections:

SEZIONE ANTEPRIMA ITA (max 20’) Per autori di opere della sezione cortometraggi autori italiani che scelgano la manifestazione “Lenola Inventa un Film” per la prima proiezione in festival cinematografici italiani del loro lavoro.
SEZIONE CORTOMETRAGGI PER UN MONDO SENZA GUERRA - SHORT FILMS FOR A WORLD WITHOUT WAR (max 20’) Una giuria composta da rappresentanti di EMERGENCY attribuirà il premio al miglior film della sezione. A jury composed of representatives of EMERGENCY will award the prize to the best film of the section.

1) Per case di distribuzione italiane e straniere (minimo 5 lavori) iscrizione gratuita. Basta indicare sezioni di partecipazione e inviare link e/o file dei lavori a inventaunfilm@inventaunfilm.it . L'iscrizione gratuita è possibile anche su Filmfreeway, fornendo il codice fornito dall'organizzazione.
2) Per singoli autori è possibile inviare un contributo a parziale copertura delle spese organizzative o iscriversi gratuitamente, a seconda delle sezioni e del periodo, su FILMFREEWAY oppure inviare l’opera , seguendo le indicazioni del bando sul sito inventaunfilm.it e compilando dettagliatamente e poi inviando la scheda d’iscrizione per mail.
Per iscriverti compila la scheda d'iscrizione in formato word e inviala insieme a link e/o file dei lavori a inventaunfilm@inventaunfilm.it (Questa opzione è possibile fino al 17 marzo 2026)
1) For Italian and foreign distribution companies (minimum 5 jobs), free submission. Simply indicate participation sections and send links and/or files of the works to inventaunfilm@inventaunfilm.it
2) Individual authors can send a contribution to partially cover organizational costs or register for free, depending on the section and period, on FILMFREEWAY or submit their work by following the instructions on the inventaunfilm.it website and completing the submission form in detail and then sending it via email.
For submission, fill out the entry form and send it in word format with links and/or files of the works to inventaunfilm@inventaunfilm.it (This option is possible until March 17, 2026)
PREMI/AWARDS
Per i concorsi cortometraggi e lungometraggi sia autori italiani che autori esteri verranno premiati, come di consueto, il primo classificato, il miglior regista, la migliore sceneggiatura (Premio Dario Gorini per i lungometraggi), il miglior interprete e la migliore interprete, il miglior montaggio, la migliore colonna sonora originale, la migliore fotografia, la miglior scenografia e i migliori costumi. Verranno inoltre conferiti il “Premio Messaggio Importante” e il premio della Giuria Popolare.
Per le sezioni animazione, mediometraggi, scuola, videoclip e sezione a tema (Ambiente), “La finestra sociale” a tema libero e “La finestra sociale” a tema “Disabilità – Oltre gli stereotipi” verranno premiati i primi tre classificati secondo le valutazioni della giuria tecnica
Per la sezione Disabilità – Oltre gli stereotipi” verrà assegnato anche il premio degli operatori e dei ragazzi dell’AIPD (Associazione Italiana Persone Down) Sud Pontino.
Per le sezioni Minidoc, Voci dal territorio e Anteprima verrà premiato il primo classificato.
Per la sezione "Per un mondo senza guerra" una giuria composta da rappresentanti di EMERGENCY attribuirà il premio al miglior film della sezione
Nella sezione autori italiani verrà assegnato per il non anno consecutivo il Premio Migrantes SAI Comune di Lenola. Nella sezione autori italiani verrà assegnato per l’ottavo anno consecutivo il Premio Cinemigrare, attribuito dall’organizzazione dell’omonimo festival.
Premi in targhe per l’Italia; in targhe o certificati per l’estero
For the short and feature film competitions, both Italian and foreign authors will be awarded, as usual, the first place, the best director, the best screenplay, the best actor and the best performer, the best editing, the best original soundtrack, the best cinematography, best set design and best costumes. The "Important Message Award" and the Popular Jury award will also be awarded.
For the sections animation, medium-length films, school, video clips and themed section (Environment), "The social window" with a free theme and "The social window" with the theme "Disability - Beyond stereotypes", the first three classified according to the evaluations will be rewarded of the technical jury
For the Disability - Beyond Stereotypes section, the prize of the operators and children of the AIPD (Italian Association of Down syndrome) Sud Pontino will also be awarded.
For the Minidoc, Voices from the territory and Preview sections, the first place will be awarded..
SHORT FILMS FOR A WORLD WITHOUT WAR a jury composed of representatives of EMERGENCY will award the prize to the best film of the section.
In the Italian authors section, the Migrantes SAI Municipality of Lenola Award will be awarded for the ninth consecutive year. In the Italian authors section, the Cinemigrare Prize will be awarded for the eighth consecutive year, awarded by the organization of the festival of the same name.

I cortometraggi non in lingua italiana presentati al festival dovranno essere sottotitolati in italiano o in inglese.
La direzione del festival curerà la pubblicazione di un catalogo generale delle opere presentate. L’iscrizione e la partecipazione al Festival implicano l’accettazione completa del regolamento e della scheda d’ iscrizione.
Il potenziamento del festival Inventa un Film è stato inserito dall’Amministrazione Comunale di Lenola nel progetto “Lenola Domani”, approvato dal MiC, per il finanziamento nell’ambito degli investimenti del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR) dell’Unione Europea (Avviso pubblico per la rigenerazione culturale e sociale dei piccoli borghi storici).

Short films not in Italian presented at the festival must be subtitled in Italian or English.
The festival management will take care of the publication of a general catalog of the works presented. Submission and participation in the Festival imply complete acceptance of the regulations and the registration form.
The strengthening of the Inventa un Film festival was included by the Municipal Administration of Lenola in the “Lenola Domani” project, approved by the MiC, for financing as part of the investments of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) of the European Union ( Public notice for the cultural and social regeneration of small historic villages)
PER UN MONDO SENZA GUERRA
Una sezione dedicata ai racconti cinematografici brevi per ripudiare la guerra
Il Festival “Inventa un film” di Lenola partecipa a R1PUD1A, la campagna di sensibilizzazione promossa da EMERGENCY per rivendicare e mettere in pratica l’articolo 11 della nostra Costituzione e ripudiare la guerra. Con l’occasione, oltre a diffondere il messaggio della campagna grazie ai suoi strumenti di comunicazione online e offline, il festival accoglie la nuova sezione “PER UN MONDO SENZA GUERRA”, una selezione di dieci cortometraggi sul tema del rifiuto della guerra e della promozione di una cultura di pace. I film brevi della sezione “PER UN MONDO SENZA GUERRA” saranno un modo per raccontare, attraverso il cinema, cos’è la guerra, quali sono le sue conseguenze sulla vita delle persone e per condividere idee e progetti di pace. Una giuria composta da rappresentanti di EMERGENCY attribuirà il premio al miglior film della sezione.
La scadenza per l'invio dei cortometraggi (max 20') è il 29 aprile. Il 28° festival "Inventa un Film" si svolgerà a Lenola (LT) dal 29 luglio al 2 agosto 2026. Inventa un Film partecipa alla campagna R1PUD1A, promossa da EMERGENCY, come altri festival AFIC (Associazione Festival Italiani di Cinema)
FOR A WORLD WITHOUT WAR
A section dedicated to short cinematographic stories to repudiate war
The “Inventa un film” Festival in Lenola participates in R1PUD1A, the awareness campaign promoted by EMERGENCY to claim and put into practice Article 11 of the Italian Constitution and repudiate war. On this occasion, in addition to spreading the message of the campaign thanks to its online and offline communication tools, the festival welcomes the new section “FOR A WORLD WITHOUT WAR”, a selection of 10 short films on the theme of the rejection of war and the promotion of a culture of peace. The short films in the “FOR A WORLD WITHOUT WAR” section will be a way to tell, through cinema, what war is, what its consequences are on people’s lives and to share ideas and projects for peace. A jury composed of representatives of EMERGENCY will award the prize to the best film in the section.
The deadline for submitting short films (max 20') is April 29th. The 28th "Inventa un Film" festival will take place in Lenola (LT) from July 29th to August 2nd 2026. Inventa un Film participates in the R1PUD1A campaign, promoted by EMERGENCY, like other AFIC (Associazione Festival Italiani di Cinema) festivals.
